An exhibition area of more than 100 square metres presents nativity scenes from a great variety of different cultures. Visitors learn from alpine, South Italian and oriental nativity scenes that the birth and life of Jesus Christ is bound neither to space and time nor to a certain cultural area and that the event is commemorated and celebrated all over the world.
19 magnificent nativity scenes for Christmas and one nativity scene displaying scenes from the Bible all through the year covering a space of 6x2 metres and depicting 26 scenes from the life and death of Jesus Christ with more than 550 figures have been arranged and designed with loving attention to detail by craftsman Ludwig Reiser.
